Board Member Nominee

As a long term design practitioner it has been an honour to serve with an inspirational 2015-17 Board during such an exciting time in WDO history.

I consider our 60th anniversary as a real bridge between past and future, young and experienced designers, capitalizing on industrial design DNA to accelerate collaborations with other stakeholders (cities, incubators, associations…)

If elected I would focus on 4 main directions:
1) strengthening WDO international voice by carrying on aligning all our projects with UN SDGs up to World Design Impact Prize and Interdesign, such as promoting more actions with INGOs as WIPO,

2) boosting regional activities as existing World Design Capital and Talks programmes and activating new regions by appointing new Community Liaisons,

3) working with and for the members, facilitating more bottom-up, agile and collaborative behaviors and pushing forward digital tools such as WDO App and our social media,

4) collaborating proactively with our Secretariat team to manage and deliver our ongoing transformation as quickly as possible.
