Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México
Established in 1956, the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEM) is the largest university institution in the state of Mexico with over 84,500 students, with its central campus located in the state capital of Toluca.
We also acknowledge and appreciate the expertise shared by our featured keynote speaker, Javier Verdura, Director of Product Design at TESLA Motors, guest speaker Leiza Fernández, Director of Innovation for the State of Hidalgo, and inspirational words shared by our Board Members, Srini Srinivasan, Alpay Er, and Yongqi Lou.
Special thanks to Jorge Abrams, WDO Regional Advisor and Director of WINN Innovation, and Martha Zarza, Professor of Design at the UAEM, who orchestrated and organized the event, without whose support the inaugural World Design Talks in Latin America would not be possible.
