Statement of intent

I have been fortunate to participate from the beginning in the candidacy for World Design Capital Valencia 2022. I was one of the 5 people who activated the process, and I have been able to experience first-hand the potential of design as a lever for change.

On the other hand, I have also participated as a member of the board of directors of the AVCD, leading design transmission activities at the regional level.

My main objective is to develop sustainable design strategies from Valencia and transfer them, not only in Spain, but to the Mediterranean and Europe.

The world we live in is changing faster than ever, and we need design methodologies to implement solutions to these new realities.

In particular, I am very interested in the development of service design applied to the administration, to rethink some strategic sectors such as tourism and health.

I work every day in the transmission of design knowledge in the industry, but we face the challenge for these connections to reach local policies.

Design is the transversal tool with which to connect the different sectors applying innovation and imagining their future to set the direction.
