Statement of intent

It has been an honour to represent the United States as a young design leader in WDO’s inaugural Young Designer’s Circle and to oversee our design education pillar from 2020- 2022. Since being nominated to represent IDSA at the World Design Assembly in 2017, I’ve empowered people of all backgrounds to bring their perspectives and voices to the forefront of international organizations, firms, and start-ups. For the past few years, I’ve seen firsthand the genuine value of bringing together different voices to build essential initiatives.

As a millennial leader, WDO efforts will benefit from my unique perspective and experience. In my opinion, our future generations are not discovering their values in design organizations, but WDO has the ability to pave the path and demonstrate the local and global influence of a community.

It is my goal as a board member to serve as a compass to steer our thinking on design education and gender equity by representing the voice of the next generation of thoughts and beliefs. For me, it is my mission to open a world where new generational voices are given equal opportunity to participate in the process of creating the future that we will all live in.

  • Manager of Customer Experience Design Integration, Delta Air Lines 
    Creates design strategies to prioritize the customer experience and infuse design thinking into the corporate culture

    Informed and co-developed a new client-facing organization to expand deep-collaborative learning between Ford and Customers
  • Lead Research and Strategist, RKS Design
    Led a Fortune-100-company to invest 400 million dollars to transition to sustainable packing
  • Instructor, Radley College
    Developed service design and research methodology lectures and workshops for 12-18 year-old students and faculty

Meghan is currently a Manager of CX Design Integration at Delta Airlines where she creates design strategies to prioritize the customer experience and infuse design thinking into the corporate culture. She is also the Community Lead for SHiFT Design and a global guest lecturer.
