SUMMARY:7th OECD Roundtable on Cities and Regions for the SDGs
DESCRIPTION:The Roundtable will bring together key stakeholders from cities\, regions\, national governments\, the private sector\, civil society\, academia\, philanthropy and international organisations to: \n• Discuss the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalisation for the achievement of the SDGs\, including specific applications of AI in different urban contexts\, opportunities and future scenarios \n• Identify solutions to mobilise public and private financing for the localisation of the SDGs \n• Analyse the impact of decentralised development co-operation and city-to-city partnerships on the achievement of the SDGs\, including in the framework of the EU Global Gateway \n• Shape a roadmap and  ways forward for the localisation of the SDGs\, the next steps of the OECD Programme on A Territorial Approach to the SDGs and its contribution to the High-Level Political Forum\, the Summit for the Future and other global agendas.

DESCRIPTION:There is another highlight and event premiere in Berlin this April: The very first iF Design Trend Conference 2024 will take place – directly on the day after the awards ceremony\, on 30 April 2024. The conference\, which takes place in the spectacular AXICA building directly at the Brandenburg Gate\, addresses the question “How can design help drive the transformation towards a future worth living?” Designers and industry experts who want to find out about global and interdisciplinary design trends and their significance for the future are invited. The conference is supported by the city of Berlin as “Project Future” of the state initiative for the creative industries.
