SUMMARY:WDC Frankfurt RheinMain 2026: Module Festival
DESCRIPTION:Module is an open-air festival featuring selected concerts\, DJ sets\, audiovisual performances\, engaging talks\, and workshops. It transforms the Kulturcampus Frankfurt into a weekend full of sound\, design\, and discourse around pop culture. \nUnder the theme Design for Democracy\, the Module asks how design and culture can contribute to inclusive\, vibrant and accessible public spaces for all. Music\, visual art and discussion enter into a creative dialogue\, making social issues tangible and experiential. \nThe Kulturcampus Frankfurt provides the ideal setting. As a site in transition\, developed collaboratively with residents\, cultural practitioners and initiatives\, it represents an open city where encounter\, experimentation and co-creation are possible. \nThe programme features performances\, talks\, workshops and a wide range of participatory formats. At its heart is a stage programme with musicians and AV artists\, whose new works light up the surrounding buildings in the evenings as audiovisual projections. This is complemented by a temporary radio station\, curated daily by different communities and broadcast in collaboration with international online radio stations. \nAdmission to the festival is free for everyone. \nLearn more: https://wdc2026.org/en/constellations/module-festival \nWDO Member: WDC Frankfurt RheinMain 2026

SUMMARY:World Industrial Design Day FRM 2026
DESCRIPTION:The goal of World Industrial Design Day FRM is to explore the role of industrial design here and now. Can a specifically German tradition in the sense of the Werkbund\, Bauhaus\, and HfG Ulm still be effective in the present\, or does this—as often in the past—rather reflect the wishful thinking of designers? \nWhat is expected of design beyond mere styling? What role do we as designers have\, and what role do we want to play? How can we fulfill this role? What constitutes a good product today\, and what requirements must a truly sustainable product meet? \nThis event will explore these and other aspects together with experts from practice and research. \nLearn more and register: https://www.eventbrite.de/e/world-industrial-design-day-frm-2026-registrierung-1742207251789 \n

SUMMARY:Moving Business by Design.
DESCRIPTION:Large organisations – whether corporations or public institutions – face the same challenge: building services that don’t just work\, but last. Service design is more than optimising individual touchpoints. It’s about solutions across the entire customer journey and about organisational change. And\, ultimately\, about a bigger question: how can business and government be designed around the people who use them? \nDesign as a Bridge Between Complexity and Impact \nThe second Moving Business by Design talk\, on 8 June 2026\, examines how service design creates real impact inside large organisations – from the customer journey to the transformation of entire structures. The focus is on the design\, technology and policy decisions that make truly usable services possible – and on how design can provide orientation even within the most complex systems. \n  \nWorld Design Capital 2026: Frankfurt Rhein/Main \nAs part of World Design Capital (WDC) 2026: Frankfurt Rhein/Main\, the four-part Moving Business by Design series brings the transformative power of design into sharp focus. Developed in partnership with IHK Frankfurt am Main\, the series positions design as a driver of transformation – in business and in society. \nLearn more\nWDO Member: German Design Council
