SUMMARY:Lisbon Architecture Triennale: How Heavy is a City?
DESCRIPTION:How Heavy is a City? This question instigates a three-year research project into the complex set of transformations of both the city and its backdrop\, revealing a new figure in the making with a magnitude of planetary dimensions. To make sense of these transformations and sort out the underlying agencies\, a re-assembly of architecture and what it means to build a collective environment is required. \nThe next edition of the Triennale aims to open a public space of learning\, experience\, curiosity\, inquiry\, debate\, delight\, outrage\, speculation\, transgression\, imagination and action about the possible futures of cohabitation. How Heavy is a City? explores emerging forms of cooperation and mutuality\, establishing a new unit to evaluate architecture to recast its role as a driver of debate.

DESCRIPTION:Feria Hábitat València has already set the dates for its next edition\, set to run from 29th September to 2nd October 2025 at Feria Valencia. The leading event for ‘made in Spain’ interiors thus retains the positioning in the last week of September that delivered such great results this year and will again be running from Tuesday to Thursday. This year was the first time the fair ran on those days of the week and the move was very well received by both exhibitors and visitors. \nThis means that Hábitat is repeating the successful formula that delivered such good results this year when the fair took place jointly with Espacio Cocina SICI and Textilhogar and\, according to the aggregate figures\, around 50\,000 trade visitors attended. \nNext year\, the interiors event will again be running at the same time as the well-established home and contract textiles fair\, positioned strategically as it has been for the last three editions alongside the furniture and décor sectors. However\, 2025 being an odd-numbered year means that\, in line with its biennial character\, Espacio Cocina SICI will not be back on the Feria Valencia calendar until 2026.

DESCRIPTION:Design Trust Graphic Archive Research Fellowship\, in partnership with Hong Kong Design Institute\, supports one fellow per year for a 6-month fellowship period to conduct research on the history and development of graphic design\, publishing and advertising from the 1940s to the 1980s in Hong Kong to unfold the transition of ‘commercial art’ as a trade to ‘graphic design’ as a profession.
