Montreal (Canada) – At its most recent meeting in Helsinki, Finland, in 2010, the executive board approved the provisional membership – starting January 2011 – of the following organisations:

– City Architects Division, Dublin City Council (Ireland)
The board was delighted with the diversity of design industry stakeholders represented in the new applications and recognised the valuable contribution these organisations would make to furthering Icsid’s vision and mission. These memberships will be presented to the XXVII general assembly, along with other new memberships from the term, for ratification.
Icsid’s membership comprises educational, governmental, promotional and professional organisations and associations from over 50 countries, as well as design-focused corporations. Members are united in their desire to advance the discipline of industrial design at an international level and create a world where design enhances our social, cultural, economic and environmental quality of life.
