In partnership with SoundWaters and the SPE Foundation, WDO held a collaborative 8-week project in March – April 2021 that addressed the issue of plastic waste.
Working with a group of elementary school students from Stamford, Connecticut (United States) who collected more than one million bottle caps over the course of 2019-2020, members of WDO’s Young Designers Circle and engineers from SPE Foundation will work with these students to transform their plastic caps into meaningful, usable design products.
