In conjunction with the 32nd World Design Assembly, a one-day Design Conference will take place on 23 February 2022 and will present a unique programme to engage professional designers, academics, students and design enthusiasts under the theme ‘design for the unimagined’.

The event will encourage participants to consider how design can remain forward-looking, while confronting the reality of an increasingly uncertain future. Bound by the encroaching threats of climate change, economic instability and concerns around public health, there is an urgency for us to work together to reimagine what lies ahead.

The sessions will explore our post-pandemic future, human-centred technologies and the emergence of new learning.
