Renata Souza is a promising Mexican Product Design graduate. With a degree from Parsons School of Design, she draws inspiration from her Mexican-American background to conceptualize meaningful products. With this purpose in mind, she has developed “Thomy”, an insulin kit for children with type 1 diabetes. Combining playful and intuitive methods (temporary tattoos) with user-centered products (an insulin pen designed for a child’s hand), she is focused towards improving diabetic children’s well-being through design.
