SUMMARY:DZIGN 2024: for a real world
DESCRIPTION:The second edition of the Algerian-French design biennial DZIGN 2024 in Algeria organized by the French Institute in Algeria in partnership with the Algerian ministries of culture and arts and that of higher education and scientific research will take place from May 9 to June 8\, 2024 in 5 cities: Algiers\, Oran\, Tlemcen\, Annaba and Constantine. \nThis year’s theme is: “for a real world”\, a title inspired by Victor Papanek’s manifesto (design for a real world). \nMore than 122 designers\, 13 creative cultural industries\, associations\, universities\, art and architecture schools will take part in this major event which will emphasize the notion of the Living\, sustainability and eco-responsibility. \nMore than 7 exhibitions\, 20 conferences and master classes\, hackathons\, workshops and performances will punctuate the entire month of programming. \nCurated by Feriel Gasmi Issiakhem. \nFor more information: \nhttps://www.instagram.com/dzign_biennale/ \nhttps://web.facebook.com/DZIGNbiennale
