IDX is celebrating World Industrial Design Day 2024 with a very special exhibition and show and tell night: “Objects of Emotion”. Come celebrate all things industrial design with our passionate community of Industrial Designers.

The theme for this year’s WIDD 2024 is ‘Let’s get emotional’ 😄👀😭

So…to tap into our emotional side we’re asking each of you to:

Bring an object that evokes an emotional reaction in you. It could be a product that has improved your quality of life or “sparks joy”, perhaps it reminds you of home, or frustrates you beyond belief!

Together we will create a communal exhibition, placing each object in our open gallery. During the event we’ll gather around our metaphorical campfire of objects to share stories of why and how these objects made us feel something.

There’s no restrictions on your choice of product, if you choose something larger than you can carry, print a photo of it and bring that with you.

Join us at Willie the Boatman in St.Peters, to meet up with friends and colleagues and celebrate our community. Ticket includes light refreshments and a drink on arrival.
