The Joseph Binder Award 2027 (JBA27), organized by designaustria, is one of the world’s leading international competitions for graphic design and illustration. It is a chance to test your work against global standards and gain international exposure.

This year’s theme, “Under Pressure,” reflects the realities of creative practice today.

The 15 categories span Graphic Design, Illustration, and Special Categories, including Design Fiction and the Henry Steiner Prize. Awards include trophies, Honored Selection, cash prizes for Design Fiction and more. It all culminates 29 April 2027 at Vienna’s MuseumsQuartier, part of designaustria’s 100th anniversary, with an exhibition, symposium, and ceremony.
