Since 1959, WDO Members have met biennially to attend the General Assembly where WDO Members are empowered with the authority to set the operational direction of the organization, elect its leadership and address a number of key issues affecting the industry.

Today, the World Design Congress™ is a three-day event, which also includes a Research and Education Forum and an international Design Conference.

Hosted by WDO Promotional Member Seoul Design Foundation, the 35th World Design Congress will take place in Seoul (Republic of Korea) in September 2027.
