For decades, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), has been at the forefront of advancing the design movement in India. Instituted in 2011, the CII Design Excellence Awards have grown into one of the nation’s most prestigious design honours.

The Awards celebrate the very best of Indian design — highlighting its transformative impact on business, industry, society, and sustainability. Entries are evaluated by an eminent jury comprising leading Indian and international design experts, based on innovation, aesthetics, functionality, user-centricity, and overall design impact. Receiving this recognition is a powerful endorsement of excellence, originality, and forward-thinking design.
