2021 International Busan Design Award (ibda) is an open place for the international design industry to share various design concepts and to revitalize the industry by linking platforms in order to realize and commercialize the ideas. Previously known as Busan Industrial Design Exhibition since 1981, ibda was newly born to International award in 2019 to improve Asia’s market competitiveness of regional design industry and to expand cooperative world design networks. The event is co-organized by the Busan Metropolitan City, the Busan Office of Education, the Busan Chamber of Commerce, and the Design Council Busan, and hosted by the Design Council Busan. ibda is promoting participants from all over the world, from elementary students to publics and companies with free theme. This year, the award ceremony and the exhibition will be held as a main event in 2021 Busn Design Week which is the largest design festival around the region co-hosted by Design House Co.,Ltd. We hope to see your design ideas in the 2021 International Busan Design Award and enjoy Busan Design Week.
