The Faculty of Design at Universidad Anáhuac México will host the 23rd edition of the International Congress Designing for Humanity, under the central theme of nearshoring.

In a context of transforming production chains, design goes beyond the formal configuration of products to become a strategic discipline capable of shaping processes, integrating technologies, creating value, and developing new experiences.

Designing in the era of nearshoring means contributing to more resilient and efficient production chains while considering their social, environmental, and human impact.

We seek to explore how design can help shape a new productive geography that balances global competitiveness with local development, technological innovation with the dignity of work, and industrial efficiency with environmental sustainability.
