Bhubaneswar Design Week (BDW) marks the evolution of the much-celebrated Odisha Design Week, returning with a renewed vision to position Bhubaneswar as a thriving epicentre of creativity, innovation, and cultural dialogue. Tentatively scheduled for 7–11 February 2026, BDW aims to bring together designers, thinkers, makers, educators, and citizens in a collaborative celebration of design that is rooted in regional identity while aligned with global aspirations.

The central theme for this edition is >“Bauhaus–to–Bharat–to–Odisha”, tracing a powerful lineage of design philosophies — from the modernist clarity of Bauhaus, through India’s rich design heritage, to Odisha’s own indigenous, evolving design language. It reflects BDW’s commitment to contextual design thinking that is both globally informed and locally grounded.
