Call for Papers: 2026 International Doctoral Forum – Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University

October 29 - November 23

The 2026 International Doctoral Forum, hosted by the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, invites paper submissions from doctoral researchers worldwide. Under the theme “Generating the Future: Art and Design in the Digital Age,” the forum fosters global, interdisciplinary exchange to explore how digital intelligence and AI are transforming artistic creation and design practices. Selected international students will be invited to present online.

Core Tracks:
1. Generative AI and Artistic Creation: Creative methods, artwork forms, and language.
2. Digital and Intelligent Technologies in Design: AI in visual, product, spatial, and interaction design.
3. Technology and Art in Historical Perspective: Evolution from photography to generative AI.
4. Art Criticism in the digital intelligence era.
5. The Value and Innovative Potential of Craft amidst technological shifts.
