The Center for the Advancement of Science in Space, manager of the International Space Station U.S. National Laboratory will support this challenge as advisors by offering insight into the possibilities that exist through research and technology development aboard the orbiting laboratory. During this fast-paced virtual Interdesign workshop, space industry leaders and researchers, as well as designers will apply technical expertise towards co-designing solutions that best address three key challenge statements. Expected outcomes of this initiative, while varied, will extend beyond traditional design products, services, systems to include a number of proposals that can be used to demonstrate what space can teach us about life on Earth.
