Manchester’s eighth annual festival of design presents more than 50 events and exhibitions at iconic locations throughout the city and surrounding centres in Greater Manchester. DM’s International Design Conference is the UK’s leading design conference, with top designers from all over the world, alongside Manchester’s finest, present to an audience of professionals and students. Other highlights include the UK’s annual public debate about design and society, a design-in-film festival, a student workshop with upwards of half a dozen universities and art colleges participating, and a two-day design in the city symposium with policymakers and planners alongside designers and stakeholders from multiple cities taking part. As usual there will also be exhibitions, tours, workshops and parties across the city and the wider region.
