After a remarkable 2025 edition, France Design Week returns from September 18 to 30, 2026, opening up Paris Design Week, for a new series dedicated to creation and innovation.

This year, the festival revolves around a committed and open theme: “D pour Design, D pour Défi” (D for Design, D for Challenge). It’s an invitation to examine the role of design in addressing major contemporary challenges. Ecological transition, inclusion, education, healthcare, social justice… these are all areas where design is called upon to offer concrete, sensitive, and collective solutions.

More than just a discipline, design is emerging as a tool for action, transformation, and cooperation. This edition will highlight approaches, projects, and experiments that actively contribute to building a fairer and more sustainable future.
