The GYDC Global Youth Design Challenge, jointly initiated by the Beijing Contemporary Art Foundation (BCAF) -Pechoin Eastern Heritage Art Fund and Germany’s Rams Foundation. Inspired by the design philosophy of legendary German industrial designer Dieter Rams, this year’s annual theme is: LESS, BUT BETTER. The challenge aims to support the next generation of young designers worldwide, encourage dialogue and integration between Eastern and Western aesthetics.
