The Next Gen Design Competition invites young creatives living in Europe (ages 18–35) to propose bold, sustainable solutions under the theme “Redesign Tomorrow, Today.”

The competition encourages participants to address pressing challenges such as circular product design, food waste solutions, new materials, sustainable textiles, and much more. Selected projects will be featured in the Next Gen Design Traveling Exhibition, which will tour Europe’s leading design festivals – Mikser Festival in Belgrade, designaustria during Vienna Design Week, What Design Can Do in Amsterdam, Barcelona Design Week and Skopje Design Week. Winners will also join the Next Gen Design Residency Program, gaining hands-on experience, collaboration opportunities, and a chance to win a monetary award for the best residency project.

Next Gen Design is supported by the European Union through the Creative Europe Programme.
