About Interdesign

Interdesign is a two-week workshop where industrial designers from around the world come together to work collaboratively on a predetermined local issue of global significance.

The host country identifies a particular problem and teams of industrial designers work together with local experts with the goal of providing innovative solutions that are applicable in other international contexts.

Since 1971, Interdesign has covered a broad range of themes, including design for the environment, specific user groups, specific materials, product development strategies, and legislative guidelines, in over 25 countries around the world.
