The 2025 jury was chaired by WDO Board Member Sonia Manchanda and comprised Pilar Marcos, Anna Devís, Daniel Rueda, and Erwan Bouroullec, and each project was thoroughly evaluated in terms of design, innovation, and sustainability, with special emphasis on the central theme of this edition: circular design.

The jury also participated in a panel discussion moderated by journalist Anatxu Zabalbeascoa, which highlighted how contemporary furniture must respond to new ways of living and inhabiting spaces. The discussion also gave rise to essential reflections on the present and future of design, including the fundamental role that women have played in the construction of modernity.
