Born in Southern Italy. Mom of Rocco and Margherita, partner of Enrico. Architecture graduate from Politecnico di Milano. She was Canon Foundation Fellow at Hosei University (2000). Visiting professor in Asia, Europe and Middle East. Author of many books and publications.

I am President of POLI.design, a consortium of Politecnico di Milano. Full Professor in Interior and Exhibition Design at Design Department, Politecnico di Milano. Member of the Board of Directors WDO (2023-2025); Member of the Board of Directors Fondazione Compasso d’Oro.

Founder of Senselab till 2019 (for 25 years) designing architecture and design strategies worldwide. Co-founder of Global Design Futures Network; Scientific Coordinator of D\Tank at Politecnico di Milano, Coordinator of the European research project AI4Gov Accelerate, Member of the Design Department Board, Scientific Coordinator of the funded research on women in STEAM by Fondazione Milano for Expo Dubai-Osaka, Italian Design Ambassador (2020–23 Kuwait, Sudan). Projects for communities: Politecnico Off Campus Nosedo, Learning Machines, Design for Ukraine Museum, HERstory, Design4WIKIAFRICA, Innovation Convergences.
