2023-2025 WDO Board Member

Oliver Lin served as Treasurer and Board Member of the World Design Organization , where he led efforts to optimize financial systems, implement risk management mechanisms, and enhance organizational transparency and resilience. He contributed actively to strategic planning and governance reform, including revisions to the bylaws. During his term, he also helped strengthen relationships with global members and partner organizations, promoted cross-regional collaboration, and supported initiatives that brought greater cohesion to the international design community—reinforcing WDO’s role in global design governance.

WDO Member engagement

From 2023 to 2025, I actively participated in WDO Board and Executive Committee meetings, the 2023 General Assembly, and the World Design Congress. I also attended World Design Capital 2024 activities in San Diego–Tijuana. My organization, the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), has consistently supported and organized events in celebration of World Industrial Design Day (WIDD) each year.
