Dan Duquette, Ethan Fancher, Erlend Meling and Derek Smoker are all industrial design majors at the Design School in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, Arizona State University. Their bus stop shelter design was selected last year by the city of Phoenix to be implemented on 400 bus stops over 5 years. It will provide shade and comfort to the 32 million annual bus riders. Erlend Meling is sharing his story and that of his teammates and how they worked towards improving well-being in the city.
