On 19 June 2025, WDO Corporate Member PARK, in collaboration with BRP, delivered a full-day Design Leadership Masterclass in recognition with World Industrial Design Day 2025. Organized with the support of ADIQ and ACID, the event gathered Canadian design professionals for a rich, in-person experience centred on the future of ethical, impactful and strategic design leadership.

Led by Stephan Clambaneva, Managing Director of PARK USA, the session explored the evolving expectations of design leaders — focusing on how leadership in design must evolve to meet the challenges of our time through collaboration, empathy, and systems thinking.

“This masterclass wasn’t just about training design leaders, it was about cultivating the kind of leadership our world needs right now: ethical, human-centred, and transformational. I couldn’t have asked for a more engaged group or a better way to celebrate World Industrial Design Day,” shared Clambaneva.

The day concluded with a lively networking cocktail reception hosted by ADIQ in celebration of WIDD, creating opportunities for deeper connection and cross-sector dialogue among design leaders, educators, and institutional partners.

From structured learning and practical reflection to community-building and celebration, the event set a new standard for how World Industrial Design Day can be used as a platform for meaningful growth and leadership in design.
