Malaysian designer Huat Lim discusses cultural attitudes and aspirations in ‘Ethos : A journey of sustenance’. Managing Director of ZLG Design, Lim worked under Zaha Hadid and Ron Herron before joining ZLG Design in 1992. He is followed by pioneering motion designer Keng-Ming Liu’s talk entitled ‘We create motion, we design experience’. Founder of Bito, Liu’s opening video for the Golden Pin Design Award 2016 Grand Ceremony won the Bronze Cube at the 96th ADC Awards. Finally, Taiwanese curator Yao-Pang Wang’s talk on ‘Body knowledge / Reimagining field experience – on site’. Director of InFormat Design Curating / InFormat Paper, Wang specializes in curating branded exhibitions and cultural spaces.
