NIDEC 2020 is convened by Design Kenya Society, under the theme: Design Zeitgeist Afrika (DZA) which reflects the aspirations, the heart, and the soul of Afrikan design for the decade and beyond. The conference brings together design professionals, design students, researchers, employers, policy makers, small and medium enterprises, and stakeholders to reflect on the successes of the past decade and learn from challenges faced by the design industry. The event is a mix of plenary sessions with keynote speeches, conference papers, networking and candid discussions in a virtual
