I am passionate about design as a tool for positive change. I work to connect creativity with society, industry and institutions, promote design culture, share knowledge through writing and talks, and raise awareness of design’s impact on people and communities.

Present occupation and affiliations

CEO, Design Foundation of the Region of Valencia

My current role requires leading initiatives to promote design as a driver of innovation and cultural value, building connections between designers, institutions and industry, and fostering collaboration to strengthen the role of design in the economy and society.

Previous WDO experiences

Since 2018 I have led the initiative for Valencia to become World Design Capital, serving as General Director from 2019. I developed its strategic plan, managed fundraising, built key partnerships with institutions and companies, and created an international network of collaborators. In 2022, after a successful year of events, I led the creation of a permanent Foundation to ensure the legacy through continued governance, strategic development and community building, promoting design as a tool for innovation and positive impact.
