We take our hats off to all the nominees this past cycle who inspired us with their innovative designs and desire to have a positive impact on society. Some of the nominated projects were as simple as a single piece of plastic helping to fight the spread of Ebola, others as complex as a large structure with thousands of components in a bid to generate clean energy. In all cases, the nominees imagined a better world and invested their time and energy in making their vision a reality.
